We all believe what we want, but to me, I think the defensive breakdowns are correctable, especially once we get a couple of the linemen back. Offense, on the other hand, looks really bad. The offensive scheme seems quite limited and the team seems unable to come back from any real deficit. 37 points allowed is bad, 7 points scored is terrible. The passing game seems as bad as ever and the run seems worse than usual.

But a collapse? Not yet. Even a bad year can be fixed with the right mix of recruits and improved coaching. I think that Mr. Canada needs to earn his money. To me, the offense was better under the Tight ends coach.

It was just one game as of right now. Now if this pattern continues through the rest of the season, then yes indeed it's a problem and something to really worry about. Pretty much every team has off the field and behind the scene issues.

Again, as of right now today, it's just one game!

You should apply to a head coaching position with all your infinite wisdom. The big universities would love to hire the likes of you. Heck Saban would likely forfeit the game knowing he would have to face someone like you running a major program.

1990's Tennessee come to mind?

Fulmer a long tenured coach with 3 SEC titles and and a national title canned by Tennessee after a 9-3 and 8-4 season (or something like that). They haven't been relevant since. This is where we are. And not Bc we fired Miles. Bc we botched the fricking hire. We will have to deal with it. We won't be bottom dwellers but we won't be top 10-15 either. 16-25 every year with a nice bowl for a while longer.
