Miss St and Cowbell Tradition

It doesn't seem like this is being discussed much - hopefully this isn't a thread about a German beating a dead horse...
So this is probably a bit of sour grapes, but how are cowbells not seen as a clear competitive advantage favoring only Mississippi State? It seemed to be out of control last night during our game.
I get that there's a clause allowing it: SEC Clarifies Cowbell Compromise.
In that clause, there is the following statement:
This rule has no penalty that I can find associated with it, and the last fine appears to have been charged in 2010, before the amendment was put in place. To me, that rule appears to be completely unenforceable, and it was evident last night.
Miss St has a page dedicated to their "tradition" ( The Cowbell), on which they have a dead link to https://www.respectthebell.com/. From that, I'm guessing they're not too concerned with enforcing it either.
Is this something that the SEC just gave up on? Claiming something is a tradition shouldn't make it immune to restriction. If that's not the case, then I'd like to propose we start up a few new traditions:
1. Airhorns when we play Mississippi State
2. Tiger mascot allowed to roam free in the visitor's section
3. Piss balloon catapults for Auburn games
4. Bourbon allowed in all home games
5. All refs for Bama games to be selected from the LSU crowd before the game

The amendment voted on... will allow ... traditional institutional noisemakers at any time, except from the time the offensive center is over the football until the play is whistled dead."

I thought that the rule states they aren't allowed to ring the damned things once the QB goes under center.

We never worried about it until we got our asses handed to us.

It could be enforced if the NCAA tells them to stop them from bringing them in. Besides maybe a case can be presented as it can be used as a weapon in an altercation. Make it smaller and the noise won't be that intense. Someone must feel sorry for the Miss St fans to allow them.

They won't even play Neck and this is what you want? How about an AD with a pair that stops caving to pressure whether that pressure is to hire the "local" i.e. Jones and Orgeron or the pressure that he folded under with that bullshite that Florida pulled last year.

We lost no excuses. That said, I felt like you could often hear the bells throughout the play.
What would likely work is if the ref would first throw a warning flag, then begin penalty flags. If opponents began ringing bells, and causing penalties on Miss State, then the bells would go.

So they need them? Let them have them. Just as long as Sting Ray stays off the field of play.

The grapes are very sour indeed.
We lost. Just accept and move on. Hopefully we can continue our usual domination of State next year, but this was their year.

Let's start with competing for the SEC again, and we can go from there.

Time for LSU to start a Vuvuzela tradition but only when we play MSU.
