Props to you, that's a lot of work. I used to have to put in a lot more hours when I first graduated but now I probably only work 20-25 per week. I do the same as you, always planning things with customers that I enjoy and sometimes that we can bring the wives too. Always nice when work is paying for things you want to do anyway. We have a strict rule in my sales group that you are not allowed to do any work whatsoever after 4:00 on Friday. It's really nice to completely disconnect, no emails or phone calls. My wife is in medical sales and they have the same rule.

I love playing golf and working out. With 2 kids I would never be able to spend time on my hobbies, with my family, and working if I spent 60-70 hours per week on one of them.

Nah, I work for another plant. Just have some contractors working for me from time to time.

My dad makes A LOT more on the pipelines and locations outside of the gulf south than he would at a refinery or plant in the gulf south.

I'm talking $4k per week.
Pipeline is where the money's at. Do that from 20-30 years old and then settle down with a cush plant job making 1,500/week.
