#Saints spent the early portion of the week shopping playmaking S Kenny Vaccaro. Interesting for a struggling D

Overpaying him to continue to underachieve isn't a good option either.
great summation, always nice to see some surprising logic around here

I thought at times he did okay today. Some of those throws to Gronk were just pinpoint and not much he could do about that.
I was surprised they left Vaccaro to cover him alone. Why not just double Gronk?
now.. there was the one TD where I think Gronk dropped it where Vaccaro looked like he just got done running circles around a baseball bat that was resting on his head during a relay race or something. And I honestly don't blame him for trying to gamble and get away with a hold on Gronk on the play where he actually intercepted it. If he didn't feel right on the play I'd rather him do that instead of possibly giving up longer yards than whatever mark off they got for the penalty.
the last straw in my opinion for Vaccaro was last year was when he flunked a drug test for Adderall. Didn't he say he wasn't aware that it wasn't a legal substance? I swear he made some bullshite excuse like that. Dude.. other players had been suspended before you for the same thing!!!!! And if in fact he didn't know well then that's on the team/coaches for not going over shite like that. Might not seem important at the time but its still something to file away in the ole memory and just fricking avoid!!!!!!!

Sounds like the saints to release or trade their best player so they wont have to pay him.

And instead of just taking the penalty, he appealed and delayed so he didn't have to play a few games so he didn't risk injury before his contract year.

Saints will get a 6/7 rounder and he will become a 5 time pro bowler with the Pats

Not only is that a lie, it doesn't make sense.
He took the suspension in the same year he got it, so he would have missed 4 games regardless that year.
If anything he did the right thing by taking it last year instead of rolling it into this year because the playoffs didn't look likely and he could have kept fighting it and taken it this year, which is his contract year.
