He referred to great recruiting classes (never mentioned LSU) for teams but the players do not get developed and progress. It was easy to know what he was referring to IMO. Who else could he be referring to. Seems like 'O' is correcting that issue. He was answering a recruiting question about what reasons he can give to highschool senior to come to UTSA.

Take Chavis for example. He has had great success when talent was there. He can't coach it up though. Too many people rely on great talent to make them look good.

can you specifically point to one example on offense? Go back to last year.
Guice? No
Any OLinemen? No
Etling? No - his was health
Receivers? He admitted to this saying he doesn't have 4 that he trusts and several have been there more than a year.
Beossette gotten any better? No

So do tell.... what offensive talent have we "noticeably developed".

You don't lead the colleges with players in the NFL if you are not developing talent! LSU has more players in the NFL than any other school by far. So thats just BS

Miles hired some bad assistant coaches at times. Hard to say why; could be due to recruiting responsibilities being more important than technique during certain times in his tenure.

The bad hires such as DJ McCarthy, Earl Lane, Tony Ball, Don Yanoesky, and BDP show up directly as bad results from their position groups on the field.

Conversely, Miles hired some great on field coaches that didn't want to recruit. Cooper, Henry, McGaughey come to mind. We've had some great results from those position groups during their tenures. But they didn't stick around long and went to the NFL.
