Scenes that you thought should have been expanded or built on...

I'm talking about scenes that seemed to make an impact in a movie or film, and really seemed relevant or important, but just were never explained or touched on again.
For example- The Mummy with Brendan Frasier;
the scene in the hotel where the Mummy is coming for Evie, and the cat hisses at the mummy, and he just freaks and disappears. It's clearly intended to happen, it shows the mummy fears cats, because ... why? We know there's folklore, but I always felt like there was something that didn't make it out of the final cut.
I'm sure there are others that just leave nagging questions, what are some that stuck out to people?

I wouldn't analyze this one too deeply. Lots of fast random action for the kids. While I get that it was one of the better remakes of Raiders of the Lost Ark, it is what it is. I say this as someone who enjoyed the film.

They clearly said: "cats are the guardians of the underworld and he will fear them until he is fully regenerated. Then he will fear nothing."
Seems like a damn clear explanation

Is there anyone who can quote anything from The Mummy from memory? Honestly, without Googling? Same for Avatar.
Entirely forgettable movies.

Another five minutes of doll sex in Team America would have probably killed me.
