Not sure if this has been talked about or not but do any of y'all think if Greedy took Tollivers spot that Tolliver and Jackson should battle out for the opposite side... Greedy well deserves the CB position but I don't see all the greatness in Donte, guy can make some plays but he does get burned and sometimes doesn't get around to look for the ball.... from what I see in Tolliver he doesn't get burned well at least during last year but always failed to get his head around, does anyone think Donte gets burned to often and should have someone battling for his position or is it just me

OMG....again

Where were you earlier this week.

I guess you are another one who thinks you know better than Aranda.

Every corner gets beat and in the time they've both been here DJ has been more productive than KT who, despite being the rant favorite, has done jack since arriving on campus.

I know, I know... 5 star, endless potential. Well the production hasn't met that potential and he's lost his job to Greedy. Jackson has done nothing to warrant getting benched.

When he does or when KT shows he's actually better, Aranda will make the change.

Leave it up to the coaches. That's what they get paid to do. Let them do their jobs and stop second guessing them.

Move DJ to the offense - slot receiver or motion for jet sweep.

Tolliver and Greedy on D.

They'll all play. There's almost no way that any of them will sit on the bench the whole game. That's about all we know.

IMO Jackson is the defensive version of Malachi Dupre. Probably looks like a stud in practice with limited contact and in 1on1 or 7on7 drills.

But come gametime he lacks open field tackling skills and it's mostly due to poor angles.

Not only does he get beat often on short to intermediate routes but he follows that up with a missed tackle.

Against some of the better receivers in the SEC that's 6 points regardless of field position.

Donte sucks. All he has is speed. Makes too many mistakes. I love it when he bounces off players, misses the tackle, gets up and acts like he did something.

Agreed. Toliver an Jackson should rotate
Depending on who is covering better on the day. Or matches up better I should say

Blah , blah, blah. Whatever.

Toliver will be trying to get his job back from Williams. This battle is long from over. Toliver sticks to his guy like glue and Williams seems to just make huge plays and has looked the part. Creating turnovers has to be rewarded first with these 2. If you are going to knit pick the Tiger D since Aranda has gotten here lack of turnovers would head the list.

If you dont think the big boys are going to challenge Williams first vs Jackson, I dont know what to tell you.

Williams may prove to be the real deal, (he looks great thus far) but thats not affecting Jackson, only Toliver.

Jackson is secure in his position. He proved that last year against the Gumps, A&M and Louisville and everyone else not named Florida, and that was one play all season.

With White on the other side, Saban had 2 weeks to try and exploit Jackson, Petrino a month with the Heisman winner, A&M had a plethora of talented Wr's with an experienced QB. And none of these teams could hardly complete a pass on Jackson.
Well in my opinion.....blah blah blah.

What good is babbling about the depth chart when Dave Aranda is in charge and the defense has been stellar for 2+ years?

Neither tolliver or jackson are elite cb's as amatter of fact. What weneed is another good cb to start opposite williams. Maybe time to look at fulton or someone else. Tolliver and jackson are just to mediocre
