I admire her choice but in choosing that she chose to leave all her kids motherless.
I know, go ahead and downvote.

With Glioblastoma, she would have died with or without chemotherapy. She decided to give the baby a chance.

I didn't read the article, but many brain cancer patients are fricked sooner or later, treatment or no treatment.

Sounds like she was going soon anyway. Gotta admire her courage to leave them another sibling.

Did the article say she has other kids though?

I think most women would make the same choice she made. Baby was born at only 24 weeks...so she still has to fight to stay alive. Hopefully the baby continues to thrive.

I hate people like you.

And I mean that literally.

People with your mentality are one of the primary roots of many problems in our society.

Not your "negative" or contrarian outlook that you so edgily put forth.

But the fact that you made a judgement based off of a HEADLINE and thought your comments made from a position of self inflicted ignorance were still worth sharing.

Woman had glioblastoma. A wicked bitch of a cancer that ranks pretty high up there on the untreatables. You aren't looking at a recovery with that diagnosis. Break open that 401k, because your life is now nothing more than a scale of quality versus duration of life.

Even with the most aggressive and earliest of treatments, only three out of 100 make it to the 5 year mark. And even they are the outliers. Majority die within 18 months even with treatment.

So her call wasn't abandoning her other kids for the sake of the one.

It was deciding to give her child a chance at an entire and full life rather than hobble along for another six months, letting her other kids watch her waste away, going in and out of the hospital.

The scales were probably slanted for her even more by their religious outlook, increasing their perceived value of an unborn child.

At least try to put yourself in their perspective before you issue judgement on their choices. And if you don't care enough about the person/situation to try.....then simply don't opine on the issue. Not like it has any worth anyway if you skip the first step.

Why don't you read about her cancer and prognosis before being a douche?

I'm not going to downvote you, but I will say frick you and frick your opinion.

You're part of the problem with this country. You don't think, you don't fricking observe, you don't pay attention, you just spout off an ignorant fricking opinion.

frick you.
