We still at the two Knicks have no reason to make the move now. maybe melo changes his mind is their point of view and maybe he is willing to go play somewheres else.

If you're melo you continue to say I waive the clause for Houston only. And then you join CC when the trade is made prior to camp or you join CC after Knicks buy you out.

this is simple logic / hoops acumen stuff. CC and melo hold all the cards. Knicks best move is to wait and hope for a miracle. An offseason injury to James or Chris would be about the only thing that would have melo reconsider no trade clause.

What's up with ya boy Billy Simmons saying there's no chance HOU can get Melo?

Knicks hold some cards as well. They can lowball the buyout knowing Melo doesn't want to start next season as a Knick. Houston has no cards. They have nothing to offer NYK that New York would want. So this battle is really between Melo and New York ownership unless Houston can miraculously get a 3rd team involved that's drooling over Ryan Anderson, which I'm pretty sure would have happened by now if there was such a team out there.
