Why is it so hard to understand re DACA? The ends do not justify the means

Obama, nor any president, had the authority to grant amnesty to children of illegal immigrants. The policy may have been good and moral and from the heart..... but it is not legal.
We are a nation of laws. And all moral, decent, and useful changes to the law need to come from congress.
Why is this so hard to understand? When you are a nation of laws, you have to follow those laws, and change them legally if you do not like them.
Nobody would support trump using an executive order to install a single payer system in America, even though to many people, such a policy would be beneficial.
When you stand by and let the government ignore "bad" laws, then it sets a bad precedent and opens the door to the government ignoring good laws.
The best route is to allow congress to pass something akin to DACA. That is within the bounds of the constitution

Pardon them all.

Prepare for the never ending stories about the poor kids of illegals. It's already started. Yahoo has a story about a kid who survived Harvey but won't survive Trump.

Shut up you racist.

Yep. Most leftists use emotions rather than logic. I know I'll get some shite for saying this but we all know it's true. If it weren't true, DACA would've never happened.

That's exactly what I've asked for over and over again. Glad you finally came around.

People are becoming more and more comfortable ignoring or breaking laws they do not agree with. Plain and simple.

How long ago did Obama do this? If it's not legal, why hasn't this been struck down by a court, but I'm pretty SURE some GOP affiliated group would have sued in court by now.
Is this the official defense of this heartless action now? Because Obama did something illegal?

Good grief we're screwed as a nation.

Feelings. Nothing more than simple ordinary feelings...

Tell these kids (and young adults) to go to their home country.
And come back through the front door.
I'll welcome every single one.

This is the universal answer to all SJW issues. Get the congress to pass the laws you want.
This applies to everything from abortion to DACA. Simply ignoring what you consider to be 'bad' laws is the route to tyranny, where you either 'look the other way' or 'throw the book' at someone according to momentary political agenda.

Yep...the Libs are always slow to learn. But when Trump Nation "looks the other way" re Meuller's Findings...they'll get it.

He was enforcing the law. You're confused. The ruling of a single judge is not a law. Laws are established by the legislative branch, not the judicial.
