re: Can College Football be on Every Sunday?

I'd be for it. Years ago, ESPN aired college games on Sunday night throughout most of the season. Problem was, they were New Mexico/Boise St. or Lousiana Tech/Houston. I doubt they want to go up against the Sunday night NFL games again.

The game matters to those teams and conferences more than any single NFL game matters. When a 9-7 team can be super bowl champion, that tells you how little each game means.
Two dogshit teams with no chance to win anything of meaning played a game with an exciting finish. WGAF.

Fine, it's subjective.
Only a handful of NFL teams are good enough to win the super bowl. And each one of those teams can lose multiple times and still make the playoffs. Same goes for every sport.
So really, WGAF about any great game.

Why don't you make your way over to Goodelldroppings.com already?

Because all my friends are here.

and when you do, it really doesn't matter.
The vast majority of college games don't matter either. I'm not sure what your point is, because I watch football for entertainment. If I leave entertained then it did its job, regardless of the impact on playoffs.
Think that VT WVU game matters? It doesn't. Neither did Monday night's game.

I feel the same about CFB.
Oh so there was an incredible finish in the UCLA vs Texas A&M game? WGAF.
This. People try too hard to justify their bias towards one or the other.

Those teams and fans love that game. Wins and losses in college are more tangible than any wins and losses in the NFL outside of playoff games.

False. NFC East goes hard in the paint every matchup.

Cowboys lost to the Giants TWICE last season and still EASILY made the playoffs.
Such a compelling matchup, lemme tell ya.

You want to talk about compelling matchups? Let's take a look at Alabama's upcoming schedule...

You just used the rationale "the fans love that game." There is true hate in every one of the East matchups, regardless of whether playoffs are at stake.
Come on, now. Playoffs weren't on the line between TAMU and UCLA either, let's be real here.

I'll watch them and enjoy them because I fricking love watching Alabama play football.
I'll also watch Auburn vs Clemson, Georgia vs ND, Oklahoma vs Ohio State, and Stanford vs USC this weekend.
I could not be more excited about those games and can't fathom any week of NFL football being 1/10th as exciting as this week's college schedule.
3 of those have immediate playoff implications and the Georgia game is interesting as hell to me.
I have NO clue how a fan of football could disagree with this.

I'd be down. But Sunday night football is the only watchable NFL games of the 5 weekly NFL games. Hard to compete with that.

We're just complete opposites. I couldn't give less of a frick about those games.
ETA: That got me thinking how many CFB players I could name off the top of my head. It's right around five.

Billionaires paying millionaires is what the NFL is to go along with the all PC garbage and rules changes makes the NFL almost unwatchable!
