Should never have lost to Acadiana that semifinal game we were so superior a team that season, we woulda destroyed Sulphur in the Dome that year had we won. #TheOneThatGotAway

My point is don't belittle a title when your only one came in a 12 team class and you lost to two other state title winners hat year

I haven't said shite about Catholic. All I'm saying is a 2A title is meaningless in the age of a superclass. Even a split superclass if you want to call it that.

I agree with not belittling titles. That said, I wouldn't down play the 2015 Championship. Division I is ridiculously loaded and CHS went through #3 and #1 in the state to get that title. Plus, they didn't choose to play in that division; they were forced their by public school principals who don't have the best interests of kids at heart.

Parkview's better at actually winning state championships

Yeah at a lower classification. That's not even a real state championship.

4 state titles prior to split.....ain't nothing to sneeze at no matter how you slice it, especially when 3 of the pre-split titles were in the "play in class" era.

Parkview has been a much better-coached team through the decades. I say that as a former Dale Weiner player who likes and admires the man. But Parkview has just been on another level coaching-wise.

Now if we could just get them as serious about academics....

Your grammar. It undermines your insult. Which doesn't make sense anyhow, since I don't have kids at Parkview.

My bad thought you were talking about Parkview but you were talking about Catholic kids correct?

CHNI wouldn't have gotten past Notre Dame in 2005 or 2006 even if they had indest.
