Currently in Barcelona- A beautiful city

So I'm in Barcelona for 3 days prior to a Mediterranean cruise and I must say Barcelona is absolutely the most beautiful city I've ever visited. There is great architecture around every block, it's absolutely stunning. Also staying at the W Barcelona Hotel with a ocean and city view on the 20th floor and I must say I am impressed.
Once I'm done with my trip I'll attempt to write a review. But my goodness this city is phenomenal.

I agree with you here. I tell everyone who asks, (and even those who don't) if you can't find something you like in Barcelona, the problem is with you and not the city.
Architecture, Art, Food, Nightlife, Sagrada Familia, Beautiful Squares, nice beaches, and great culcha.. It's hard to stop listing things imho
Watch out on Barceloneta near the W though, I saw things there that I will never un-see...

Oh yea I've seen a few naked folks, usually older and unaesthetic folks.
One thing that surprises me about Barcelona is the lack of violent crime with so many inhabitants coupled with how dense it is. Never once felt unsafe throughout all the walking and sight seeing, and we went through more than a few alleys. Definitely a prideful culture that takes care of their city.

Has to be one of the top eating and drinking cities in Europe. Enjoy!

Probably safer now than a month ago since the local Aloha Snackbar club already blew their load.

i agree. barcelona is a great city. i particularly liked the el borne district and the old jewish quarter. the old roman ruins encased in glass in the middle of the buildings was impressive. we were all over spain and barcelona was the highlight. the market on las ramblas is something you dont see in usa. great food but next time i will pass on the octopus. yuk!

Yeah I just got back in June from a couple of weeks there. It's such a great place. I'd like to bring my teens there .

We spent a week there in April of last year. It is now one of my favorite vacation destinations. Beautiful city. We stayed in El Born. The architecture was fantastic and we were eating at great restaurants every night. Have a great trip and give us a full report.

I just left there a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it.. Had the opportunity to go to Disfrutar for dinner one night... it was a great experience!
