I received this message from our neighborhood FB group:

FYI.

Due to supplier issues related to Hurricane Harvey, Kroger is out of Regular Unleaded gasoline. I'm guessing that other stations could POSSIBLY run into the same issue, along with price increases.

****Edited Clarification - Kroger still has 3000 gallons of Premium and 1000 gallons of Diesel, both at the listed prices.

Thanks,
Bill

Two nights in a row last Thursday and Friday they ran out of unleaded at my nearby Valero.

It was $1.97 until yesterday and now it's $2.15.

Lots of outages. Even some of the refineries that are running are short on crude as some of the pipelines have been shut down for various reasons due to Harvey.

I fly in Saturday to get my truck from the dealership. I'm gonna have them top it off so I can make it back to Louisiana without stopping.

Not sure where you are hearing that. Yes, GOM production is down, but on shore drilling is starting to/will back up

Not only did Kroger have enough regular unleaded for me last night they were 20 cents below what everyone else was charging (including the usually cheap RaceTrac and QuikTrip).

In which slum does OP reside?
