Holy hell at the map size of this thing.

How much game time am I looking at to beat this thing?

I'm at 4 hours and haven't made it much past the Plateau.

Depends. If you're just doing main stuff, probably 50-70 hours. Trying to do (close to) everything, 200 hours or more.

My GF just started playing tonight. I kind of don't look forward to watching/helping during her long long journey

Really was an awesome experience. I still go back every now and again, waiting for DLC 2.

200 hours is generous. You're looking in the upper 300s in this game. BUT that is assuming you aren't using a guide. It's funny because there is literally one thing that stretches the game time out by 100-200 hours. The korok seeds. There are 900 of them all across the map and to complete the entire game, you have to find every one of them.

Took me 235 hrs or so to find every shrine and every single quest I could find, and beat the final bosses.

And sometimes I just explored for hours.

I'm on my 2nd run in Master mode and am still really enjoying it. Very interested to see what the 2nd DLC holds.

It really is a fantastic game. I've probably got over 200-250+ hours easy between my 2 runs. Its just so well made.

I'm not going to try it again unless I get a pro controller for the U or finally get a Switch.

I bought this little controller used from GameStop called a PowerA.

The button layout is the same as a Xbox controller and so are the analog sticks. It's so much easier to use than a Pro controller. I got it for $17 but it has been well worth it.

Took me about 75-80 hours to beat the main story and finish about half the shrines. Need to pick it back up at some point. Splatoon and Crash Bandicoot have been preventing that

I'm trying to find as many shrines as possible and just spend 20 minutes climbing this huge arse mountain to get to one. Holy hell this game is massive.

Man it's a classic Zelda game. You could lose yourself for over a thousand hours or with a little luck you could beat the game in 50

110 hours for my first playthrough. Only completed 23% of the game.

In my second playthrough now, taking it real slow.

I absolutely love the game. For me it's relaxing. I can just chill out on the couch and escape.
