Let's talk about some "pre" Miles "wins" -

Remember 2000, Mississippi State? 45-38 (OT) - that was way too fricking close, IN Tiger Stadium. Yeah, we had lost the previous year, but recall that Curley and Dinardo went a combined 7-2 against Miss. State. We only forgot about that one because we beat Bama the next week in TS - the first time since 1969. Thanks to Josh Booty.

I already mentioned the literal miracle we needed in 2002 @ Kentucky. What about 2002 Ole Miss (in TS)? We fumbled 5 times, thankfully losing only 2. We didn't dominate them, but had clear advantages in most statistical categories. Despite this, we trailed the entire game until less than 7 minutes to go. The entire Ole Miss series was that way for the coach prior to Miles - we went 4-1 against them, but the combined score was 102 - 90, less than a FG/per game.

The Troy miracle under Miles has an echo pre-Miles - the 2004 games was 24-21. We also opened against Oregon State that year and need OT to beat them - again, Oregon STATE, not Oregon, and in Tiger Stadium. We had a lot of close games that year and it burned us @ Auburn and in the bowl game.

That Oregon State was my first game at Tiger Stadium. Knew we weren't repeating after that game unfortunately. However that loss to Auburn a few weeks later is probably the most pissed off I've been after a loss aside from the 2012 and 1/9 Bama games.

Was there for the Ole Miss, Bama, and Troy home games mentioned here. It was cold as hell in the Corey Webster game. Broussard went ham against Ole Miss and Demarcus Ware was on that Troy team. Oh and then there is the other Troy comeback game which was miserable to sit through. Got a cold from sitting in that terrible weather.

Would've lost my shite at the 2010 Tenn game. Was at that bullshite UNC game. All the frustrating memories.

That win against Wisconsin was pretty frustrating at NRG even though that team was considered young.

dude State was fricking solid in those days. they came into that game ranked in the top 15.

this is one of the underrated "loudest games in TS" contenders. Would not be surprised if were a 2 or 3 point dog going in.

ETA: I just looked it up and we were 5.5 dogs
