We just lost power on N. Braeswood

My mom was supposed to stay at Main and S. Braeswood tonight for an appointment at MD Anderson tomorrow. I can almost certainly tell her she can't get to and stay in that area tonight, correct?

Someone posted pictures of the Med Center earlier, it didn't look passable now. Who knows what happens by tomorrow though.

I would think most medical personnel are going to be diverted to emergency triage and treatment.

Md Anderson has cancelled everything except in patient services.

MD Anderson Locations to remain closed today and Monday, Aug. 28WEATHER ALERTSent:Sunday, August 27, 2017 11:03 AM

ALL MD Anderson locations will remain closed for outpatient services, surgeries and appointments on Sunday, Aug. 27 and Monday, Aug. 28, due to severe weather in the Houston area. Only inpatient hospital care areas will remain active. If there are immediate medical needs, patients should access care at their local hospitals.  Patients will be notified by phone/text messages, through our social media channels and via myMDAnderson.

Also, TXDOT has requested that people stay off roads for several days, and to call them for all travel to confirm roadways are safe.
