Real up 2-0 at half (5-1 agg)
Major takeaway: It's immediately noticeable that ESPN no longer has any major European soccer rights, as their commentators are garbage
Also, Barca should have counter-offered PSG 222 million for Messi instead of Neymar

I... don't think that's how that works.

Hercules Gomez has always been trash, but it's weird to me that his "accent" is wayyyy toned down compared to when he's calling Mexico games. This other guy is just ridiculous and going way over the top with name pronunciation. He keeps pronouncing Marcelo as Marceelo
Oh and Real is playing without 3 starters and they're running Barça off the pitch. Outside of Messi and Suarez this team is pedestrian

40 million for Paulinho, but wanted to pay Asensio's 4 million in installments. Lol.

Barca have signed guys who have flopped for Everton & Spurs, its sort of unbelievable how much of a mess they are right now

Zidane has 7 losses as the coach of Real Madrid. Zidane just won his 7th title as the coach of Real Madrid. GOAT.

Madrid is grabbing up all the young Spanish talent on top of having world class players in every position.
Also I love Zidane. He has been unbelievable as a manager.

Zidane's ability to manage all these egos without any chaos breaking out behind the scenes has been remarkable.

Ok soccer mom
El Classico is the last match I look for sportsmanship in, especially with all those A type personalities out there.

It's really badass when the guy who does its team is kicking the other team's arse.

Kind of like taking a dive and being awarded a pk. I'd think Ramos is just paying it back.

Such great sportsmanship from Messi
quote:
With a look of sheer indignation on his face, Messi stared back at the opposing captain, before uttering the Spanish phrase 'La concha de tu madre' in his direction.
In English, it translates into the expletive-laden rant: 'Your mother's c***'
