You are correct, 2+ is a no go for me unless it kicks up. It can handle it going with or straight against the waves if you trim down and let the bow take it. The cross chop is where you get beat to hell and back. Whodat rode with in one night from the pickets in some heavy seas, he knows the difference in the 20 and 22. Again, it's not a glass boat and will not do nearly as well in a heavy chop but it works for me

I feel you haha the xpress beam and lack of chines is why it's so wet and unstable. The bottom is about 6' wide but because if the taper of the sides but claim a 7' something beam.

Yep and I was very surprised how how much better it rode and handled. But the 20' to 22' price difference is about 8-10k when adding extras and the bigger motor.

Seapickle and I both had the 20' and sold them for frontier 2104.

ETA: yes they warranty them and I'm not sure how long. Expect your boat to be gone for 6-8 months though. I heard it's a shite show dealing with their customer service
