If true, go to a doc, quick. My brother died 11 years ago from complications with benzo withdraws.

It's about nutting up and dealing with the consequences that you know are inevitably coming your way once you have to quit the addiction.

I mean if it's THAT bad, he needs to get to a mediclw center and medically detox. But he needs to know he won't ever be perscribed those benzos again to play around with.

Grab a Cajun injector needle. Put equal parts milk, peroxide, and garlic powder in the syringe. Inject straight into your eyeball. Should be fine

You need to move around. Ride a bike or walk around the block. DO NOT JUST SIT AND DO NOTHING. That doesn't work. Stay active until you are so tired that you pass out. Godspeed brother and when you are better, make sure you LEARN FROM THIS.

It's a terrible idea to get off of any benzos cold turkey without a doctor's supervision.

You must have missed the part where he said he's drinking. He'll be fine.

And .75mgs lol? That isn't a size cut it's .5 or 1mg. Even if it was an amount so small benzo wds that cause seizures are from people taking huge amounts

True. Never heard of .75 mg. I was precribed 90 per month 2mg (whites) back in 2003-2004. Tried coming off cold turkey against doctor's advice. Ended up having a seizure and in the ER. Not pretty and not fun at all. frick benzos. Been off them since 2006. Took months if not over a year to get my mind back right. There's better ways to deal with anxiety.

Are brain zaps that sudden bump you get when starting to fall asleep while withdrawing? If so, I know exactly what you're talking about and they are horrible

It's no joke and everyone is different so one person taking x mg for x amount of time might be able to stop better than someone else taking less for a shorter duration.

And my experience there's docs out there that don't take tapering into account. I was taking klonopin each day for several months (low dose just 0.25 mg) for anxiety. Everything seemed better so he stopped (and gave me a nonbenzo on my followup) and I had symptoms like the OP. I thought I was dying but honestly had no idea wtf was going on, thought I was just really sick. Eventually put 2 + 2 together that it was stopping the klonopin.

OP it takes a while but it gets better. I would highly recommend tapering off of it, ask your doc about it. It's not something that gets better overnight either but things do return to normal.

fricking brain zaps are a bitch. Doctors put me on Paxil and Effexor at the same time. My brain went into a 2 week long echo when I stopped taking them.

Get ready for some fricked up dreams and sweating like a leaky sink for at least 2 nights.
