downpayment usually drops from $2500 to $250 or nothing.
Holy shite, you serious Clark? $2,500 to join Calvert? I can hit up Frenchmans/Black Bear/Chennault a bunch for that kind of cash and I am sure that doesn't include the monthly dues.

Yeah I was surprised as well. That was back when pine hills was still open though so you had 2 good courses a mile or so apart and you had full access to their gym and pool too so it probably isn't quite that high anymore since pine hills closed down.
ETA: Monthly dues for my junior gold membership (up to 29) were $250 I'm thinking. But again that was with both courses so may be lower now.

This. Played Webb over the weekend....those greens are still awful
I live near campus so Webb is very convenient place to play but I kind hate going over there because of the greens. Nothing kills a whole like getting on in 2 on a par 5 just to find your ball in a mini bunker....

Its like putting on ice out here, always. Southwest Colorado. Even though its monsoon season and it rains a little pretty much every afternoon, it has not slowed our greens even a littl
Gotta love Colorado weather. Perfect for growing grass.

When the greens are good, they are pretty decent for the most part...Webb did their aerification July 31/August 1 and it hasn't taken hold just yet.
