Why would he even say we have military options in Venezuela???

Because military is one of the options for Venezuela? I imagine anytime you assess a humanitarian threat military action will always be one of the options discussed. I'd been surprised if it wasn't an option.

why is it bothering me that we are considering another war???
Your fear driven mind is just making that up. Is this normal for you or are you jacked up on something? Just trying to help.

Being proactive. This may be new to you, but this is what leaders do. Plan ahead, consider different options. Another option I'm sure being considered is to do nothing. Venezuela made a threat recently about what would happen if the US got involved. I'm glad our President Trump is leading instead of just sitting back making excuses.

What I don't get, is that we were all against Hillary because she was a war monger, yet here is Trump maybe getting us involved in not one (North Korea), not two (Venezuela) but three (Iran) possible military conflicts. I would like a little more tact and diplomacy before we start pulling out the military card.
Agreed. One of the reasons that Trump was elected was Clintons war hawk tendencies, the push was for the US to stop trying to play world police and focus on our own country instead. If someone truly poses a threat to the US or its allies (and NK is certainly pushing that line) then a military threat is warranted. Not liking another countries government is not a reason for military action though, it's just more world police.

Trump must've invested in a movie studio.

Venezuela is breaking down on its own accord. Their leadership would love for the US to get involved so they could point to the evil imperialist Yankees as the bad guy. Absent a direct attack on US forces, we should in no way, shape, or form be involved overtly in anything going on in Venezuela.

Don't do it, Donald. Don't run into that burning barn.

I'm outraged. He told the truth.
FWIW, he didn't threaten anyone. I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Yeah, well, there are military options available against Canada, but he didn't mention them.
Dumbass thing to say.

I have no problem with that. Better us than Russia or China.
The Monroe Doctrine is the best known U.S. policy toward the Western Hemisphere. Buried in a routine annual message delivered to Congress by President James Monroe in December 1823, the doctrine warns European nations that the United States would not tolerate further colonization or puppet monarchs.

$10 says Trump has no idea what the Monroe Doctrine is

Why would either of them get involved????
There have been civil wars in South America since the Spaniards left.
We have no reason to intervene and certainly no reason to take military action endangering US troops.
Trumpkins disagree because--well because Trump would do it.
