The tackler literally launched himself with his arms completely to his sides, and torpedoed into Dupre leading with the crown of his helmet. He didn't even attempt to fake like he was trying to wrap up.

You don't see anything wrong with that?

The game is played at tremendous speeds. Helmets clash all of the time. I absolutely can't say that the defender was trying to "launch" himself and lead with the crown. It's a lot more likely that he was trying to get across Malachi's body and just didn't get there.

That looks like a normal football play to me. I'm basing this only on the one video posted in the OP. Maybe there is another angle that would change my mind. But, when a player has a ball in his hands and he's a runner, he needs to protect himself.
