farmer's market?
we get ours from a friend that has a son at our kid's school
I put $3 in her son's cubby and the next day I'll have a dozen eggs in my daughter's cubby
it kinds feels like a drug deal sometimes

I have neighbors with chickens That sell eggs, but we get all of ours from my FIL. He lives south of Laffy. I live just outside of Opelousas. There are several people around that have chickens. Most of them just let the chickens free range during the day and lock them up in the coup at night.
I plan on getting some chickens of my own one day. Just don't feel like dealing with them right now.

I have friends who keep chickens and give me fresh eggs. Apparently, chickens are fine in Baton Rouge. Roosters might be a different story.
