Watching clemson Pitt game right now and can only imagine Drake at 6'4" 210lbs. Running these same plays. Chark finna eat too. Geaux Tigers!

And probably would have been the fastest player on the Pitt team. And LSU has a couple/few guys who are faster than Drake.

It was sarcasm guys relax. I'm more excited about LSU football than I have been since 21-0. The feeling of impending stupidity has been lifted

I have no concerns when it comes to LSU's skill players as they have and continue to get some of the best. My concern is Etling, can he handle and operate Canada's offense? Nathan Peterman was a smart, crafty veteran QB that handled Canada's system expertly. We'll see if Etling can do the same, get the ball to the right players consistently and make plays.

That and the o-line play are the questions on offense. Skill players we got and hopefully the misdirection will take some of the pressure off the line in the big games. Etling def has to step it up a notch for this team to be really good offensively

WTF is Ellington?

Offensive line will hopefully be a strength of the team. 3 of 5 starters back. Losing Pocic was big but I think Brumfield will be an upgrade over Boutte, esp for pass protection. And once again outside of Bama and maybe UF game they were dominant last year.

Despite a rash of injuries – some of which were played through, others that created some reshuffling – the offensive line blocked for a top-25 S&P+ offense and ranked fifth in adjusted line yards. Pro Football Focus rated it as the top unit in the country.
There were consistency issues at times, but basically, unless you could field a top-20 defense, the Tigers plowed right through you.

Drake Davis in any offense Issa problem. Hell, I think he would be great on defense too at a S/LB hybrid role.

Has anyone heard anything on Dee Anderson? I know he was in the doghouse. Just wondering about this year.

Well if you put much stock into rankings, Etling was a composite 4 star (17th ranked pro-style QB). Peterman was a 3 star. Etling actually has a little better arm strength too. There's no doubt that went down as the back injury flared up, but you should see much better zip this season.

I actually think the O-line will be improved from last year. Yes we lost Pocic, but we return 3 of 5 from last year. Teuhema started at guard as a freshman and is returning their this year. Brumfield will also be an improvement over Boutte.

Teuhema needs to harden up a bit

Etling > Peterman.

So, you don't check what you write, but depend on spellcheck? Numbskull.

Weathersby at RT is more experienced than most people realize. He was the starter there at beginning of the season. Missed a few games due to injury.
When he returned to action there was a three man rotation at the tackle spots.
LT - Malone started and took two thirds of snaps there.
RT - Teuhema started and took one third snaps at RT and one third snaps at LT.
Weathersby didn't start but, he took two thirds of the snaps at RT.
That's a pretty experienced trio there. Throw in Clapp and that's a solid returning four along the Oline.
