Teo, when healthy, was actually good his last season.
I think he struggled early on, but he should be better.
I actually like Klein at Sam instead.

I was 100% an Anthony guy during draft and we got him. I hope he turns the corner too. The Ellerbe release directly was a play off of how the Saints must feel about Anthony now and maybe the options behind him with Robertson etc.
I'm pulling for Anthony as well. Would be nice to see him and Anzalone pick things up quickly and become solid starters. Would help us finally find some youth at LB

add me to that list. He has all the tools to do it. I honestly don't know why he was so bad last year. I'm hoping he just really got in Joe Vitt's doghouse.

Any Kikaha sightings?

Yes. He wont be asked to play LB anymore either. He will be a DE. Its what he is good at.

That's gotta be the worst linebacking corps in the NFL by a large margin
It might be, but it also has a lot of potential as well to be surprisingly good.
You bottom-tier poster douche lord

From 2006-2009 we kept the same 3 LBs throughout those years. Ever since Vilma left in 2013 we havent had a single LB standout above the rest. USA Today ranked us 32. It can only go up from there. Joe Vitt is an addition by subtraction. Having Mike Nolan should at least have them be serviceable compared to the previous years. We have to take a wait and see approach. We dont have a ProBowl LB on this roster yet. Maybe that changes this year.

Saints 2017 defensive slogan "Our starters may suck, but our backups are just as good!"

At least with a competent coach, you can figure out some of the equation. Before you weren't sure if it was either or both. Now, if Nolan can't make something happen, we know its more about the players than the coach.

You actually think I'm trolling? You don't think it's very possible that that would be the worst trio in the nfl? Remember when you were saying how the Saints had normal injury luck???
We are talking about two players that may not make 50 percent of nfl rosters and another guy who is a 5th round pick who has played backup his entire career. Not trolling, you are just out of the loop
Armstead
Fairley
Unger
Ellerbe
Before training camp. You have never been right. Go ahead and bend the knee already or I'll put your head on a spike

Says the guy who just called Kikaha leading the team in sacks. I sure hope that's not the case, we can't afford to lose Rankins or Cam to IR.
I swear it's like some of yall just aren't all there. If that is our starting linebacking corps, it absolutely has the potential to be the worst in the league. And I laugh at Zombie saying it has some elite level potential. Anthony is the only one with above average athleticism while the other two have shown nothing that indicates they are above average players. They are unathletic LB's who haven't proved they are anything more than depth players in the NFL. Look at all that raw potential
