Well you better hope someone figures it out. The Dems are determined to ride Obamacare straight into the ground to protect Obama's legacy and the republicans are too afraid to touch it despite all their talk.

Edit: now that I think about it, that's all this is about. Dems want to protect the Obama legacy at all costs, and the republicans are sitting on the sidelines because they don't want to get the blame for destroying/ dismantling the legacy of the first black president.

This is what really bothers me. Blame the tea party obstructionists or us anti-Trump obstructionists, it doesn't really matter. The problem comes down to party over country, and ideology over pragmatism.

I doubt any one politician has the answer to this issue. People are going to have to suck it up and work with the other side. Unfortunately, they've (both sides) spent the past 20 years portraying that other side as evil, unpatriotic and stupid. They've won elections that way and they're scared to do what's right due to optics, i.e. election consequences.

There are a lot of people that care more about their rising premiums than Rands ideological purity

I'm glad the bill failed because for me personally I just want to see it repealed but I find his opposition self serving and vain

ETA: also he's going to be an obstructionist when or if they have good legislation on the table. I honestly think if he were the deciding vote on a straight repeal he'd vote no.

Nobody likes this plan it's hated by everyone in the medical community but you're going to tell me let's "just win" and worry about the fallout later? You guys attacking Rand have absolutely no principles. The bill is more unpopular than Congress.

The democrats are closer than ever to single payer because they passed a piece of shite law that was designed to fail in ObamaCare.

Liberals have made an art form of chipping away at things like medicaid, SNAP, food stamps and section 8. First they started small and then chipped away at it over the years to grow them more and more.

Republicans need to learn how to do the same and that includes passing this law and then keep perfecting it down the road. Continuing to hold out for the cannonball shot to the head is stupid and will never work.

And Republicans don't know shite about that and refuse to do so because of idiocy like Rakim's reasoning demanding all or nothing and playing up the take their ball and go home game.

Oh and the 2015 bill does not repeal a single ObamaCare regulation while the 2017 version does.

Lunacy.

Neither side has any common ground to work together to solve this issue. The AFA needs to be completely repealed and replaced with something that actually helps the consumer and significantly lowers costs and returns insurance to actually being insurance. The Dems will not under any circumstances go along with repealing any part of Obamacare. It's the only legacy that Obama has left. So that leaves republicans with the narrowest of margins to repeal it, but political cowards in the party are holding everyone by the balls

Honestly, even as liberal as I am, it's easier to play long games based on charity or giving things to people than it is to work in the opposite direction. My own leaning is to err on the side of compassion and giving. That's why I line up the way I do, even though I can see some cases of people gaming the system.

Kill the funding to Obamacare through repeal. This places the gun at the GOP & Democrats heads. Now they have to compromise on something. Republicans pass this bill then they lose in 2020 Democrats are going to be swept in.

Defend this POS bill and how it improves healthcare? There isn't even interstate insurance mumbo jumbo Trump promised. My god the GOP sucks. Kill this crappy bill and just repeal it.

You're either just a liar or ignorant

The Senate bill is about repealing the funding because it takes 60 votes to repeal the rules and regulation when going through reconciliation. But please proceed to telling me how healthcare works.

Umm you have to repeal the funding for the ACA either way. You can't just pass a new law and keep the funding for the ACA. Oh unless you're trying to keep the ACA in place.

How cute...

No let's repeal the muthafricking funding and play a game of chicken with the Dems. This way you neutralize the issue instead of losing the House and possibly the Senate. You think Republicans are going to match Dem enthusiasm in 18 if this bill passes. It's unpopular and a bad fricking bill.

Yes. I understand this doesn't come natural, but when making a point about another party, people typically seek their own knowledge and experiences to determine whether they can form an opinion about the issue.

I do not have any professional experiences with "hair transplants;" I haven't done any independent research on the subject; and I don't have any personal experiences with hair transplants either. So unless something is egregious, then I can't formulate an educated opinion on it. That's why I also linked the picture, because I didn't see anything egregious.

Since you so confidently state your conclusions, I assume that you have some personal or professional experience regarding the issue, or spend your free time researching it. So I'm trusting in your expertise on such matters.

Did you really just write all of that in response to a one sentence insincere remark about your hair?

Well I was hoping you would admit that researching hair transplants was a personal hobby of your's.

Curlies covering top of the head where most men go bald and thinner straighter hair everywhere else

As seen in every hair restoration commercial ever.
