Upper Deck are a bunch of jabroni ponies. They sign MJ LBJ and Simmons and then don't release cards. I think they just sell autos off their website now. That's really fun for collectors. Don't fault the guys who sign. They probably do 1/10 the work of those who sign cards. I do respect guys like Kobe though who stay in the game.
I have no idea if/when UD plans on releasing a new basketball product but there wasn't one this year.
It's funny how the market adapts though. Ben Simmons base cards that are low numbered became the new autos and RPAs for him. He literally had less than 200 cards (all base) in the flagship release of the year (National Treasures) so those cards were selling for 1k+.

On a different note, what's the best way to find the value on some of these cards and where's best to sell? eBay I assume, but for the MLB one I got the Nats and have various cards, but don't know where to begin on trying to get value for them

I solely use eBay. The trick there is building up feedback. COMC is a huge consignment service people use for more common cards.

Yeah, I have a similar question. I have a couple 1/1s. How do they determine the value for those? Do I sort of control it to an extent?

Kind of. I mean really any 1/1 of same player can determine value. Product pantheon (tier of product) x player essentially. I stupidly put up a 1/1 black label paper bowman base of someone this year that got me THREE whole dollars on auction. I could have been shady (I've seen some shady shite) and pulled it but couldn't bring myself to do it. eBay doesn't even tell you not to pull items, just warns you can piss people off.

What are those sheets called where you can put cards in them but they arent covered. I see guys bring binders of them to minor league baseball games and get signatures on them without having to take cards out.
