Yep like any criminal or terrorist enterprise. A lot of Trumpkins are butthurt about Muh Russians, but they know deep inside that Jr. taking that meeting with all the top brass Trump admin lends credibility to the whole thing. Its a tough pill to swallow after so many months of dank and spicy memes.

Not butt hurt at all

An investigation was opened because of possible collision between Trumos campaign and Russia. It seems from everyone's comments that looks off the table so now let's prosecute individuals associated with Trumps businesses. I mean we all want people that were breaking the law (racketeering, money laundering etc) to be brought to justice right?

We can all agree then let's open up investigations on every member of congress and elected official to see if either them or people associated with them were breaking any laws as well.

I hope the FBI does the right thing in that scenario let's take down everyone and bring them to justice.

As I said, that's a different criteria than was used for Session's recusal. You can keep trying to restate it in various ways if it helps you.

Mueller's Mission Statement includes this bullet point:

Odd mission statement from Trump's own DOJ.

The one fact in this whole debate that will never sink in for Trumpkins

Mueller should be fired. Unfortunately this is virtually impossible.

Wait I thought it was opened to investigate Russian "meddling" in the election?

It doesn't matter what you or I think, dude. Mueller has no conflicts, according to the people who do matter. Period.

Lol.
So he doesn't determine what he wants to investigate?
Who determines that?

As the federal code explains, a special counsel must consult the acting attorney general (Rosenstein) if he wishes to expand the inquiry beyond what was spelled out in Rosenstein’s order “or to investigate new matters that come to light in the course of his or her investigation.” In addition, Rosenstein can ask the special counsel to “provide an explanation for any investigative or prosecutorial step,” and if such step is deemed “inappropriate or unwarranted under established Departmental practices” the acting attorney general reserves the right to intervene, provided Congress is notified.
That should clear it up

Rosenstein's allowance of this expansion should be a huge red flag to the NeverTrumpers that this won't turn out the way they hope.

So let's stipulate, for argument's sake:

-A business dealing that was perfectly legal in 2008 (it's still legal to sell and own property in this country, right?).
-A licensed entertainment event 2013 (that was barely even noticed by MSM at the time).
-A frivolous 2010 lawsuit thrown out of court three times already and brought by disgruntled employees of a company that Trump does not and did not own but was only dealing with (WTF?).
-Trump son-in-law pursuing financing for Trump businesses (because businesses people never do that, right?)
-Trump taking meetings with international bankers (because what international business operator would ever do that, right?)
-A Trump Cabinet member once worked for an international bank and had dealings with international clients (because why would an international bank ever have dealings with international clients, right?).

And just because there are some still suffering from CDS (Collusion Delusion Syndrome) let's stipulate further that there is some sort of nexus with Russia in all of these.

The question will continue to be: what exactly is impeachable, here? Or even against the law? So: so the frick what to any and all of this?

And while thinking about that, consider the source of this 'info' related to the inner workings of the Mueller inventigation:
quote:

The information was provided by someone familiar with the developing inquiry but not authorized to speak publicly.

As opposed to the utterances of those willing to go on record:
quote:

John Dowd, one of Trump’s lawyers, said on Thursday he was unaware of this element of the investigation. "Those transactions ... are unrelated to the election of 2016 or any alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia and most importantly, are well beyond any Statute of Limitation imposed by the United States Code,"
