The Bharara probe was consolidated into Mueller’s inquiry, showing that the special counsel is taking an overarching approach to his mandated investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Altogether, the various financial examinations constitute one thread of Mueller’s inquiry, which encompasses computer hacking and the dissemination of stolen campaign and voter information as well as the actions of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Yep and possibly NY AG Schneiderman investigation(s).

I don't think Trump has any property in Russia. He wanted to open a hotel in Moscow at one point but nothing came of it.

10-15 years ago in Manhattan and South Florida as well as Los Angeles and to a lesser extent Hawaii, you could not swing a cat and miss a Russian in the high end real estate market. They were everywhere....still are....they have a nice stake in the Condo market along the Gulf Coast these days.

The Gulf Bar in Orange Beach....owned by a vori associate. The Hang Out also owned by he same bunch....although they like to say they are "Israeli".

I couldn't seriously care less who you think I voted for and I'm not sure how its relevant. You are seriously a one trick pony and I'm sorry that my voting history takes up such a large amount of the vast emptiness that is your head. I know it much easier to attack critics than to defend Trump so I get why you do what you do.

Special Counsel isn't the best way to investogate this. I find it hard to beleive freedm loving Americans can support a special counsel in any event. Especially self identified Republicans and Libertarians. Frankly, even Democrats.

The world is upsde down when I have to look to Alan Dershowitz for objective civil libertarian views, and Rand Paul actaully starts agreeing with Donald Trump on a regular basis.

Please note no where in this thread did I say this shouldn't be investigated, and no where did I either defend or support DJT. I can make an argument about each of these, but the point is, you are either in favor of civil liberties, or you aren't.

We have supposed cosnervatives and civil libertarians arguing Sessions recusal was appropraite becuase on an "appearance", but Mueller has no such "appearance."

Mad down voter Libertarian is back.

Rod Rosenstein brought about the investigation. Trump's DAG. He obviously didn't see any conflict, and has testified as such.

You're moving the criteria a bit. Is there an appearance of a potential conflict of interest? Yes and obviously so.

Mueller's Mission Statement includes this bullet point:

-- Nail Trump.

IMHO, he will find something, however tenuous or attenuated.

As I said, his boss doesn't think so. And if RodRose's boss disagrees, he should fire him.
