R n' O's makes the best roast beef Po-Boy in the New Orleans area and it's not close.

Get an order of fries with cheese and roast beef gravy to share as well.

My only complaint is it takes a while to get seated on Friday and Saturday nights. I prefer to go on a weeknight.

If they still make that smothered rabbit lunch on Thursdays, that shite is worth trying if you have never had it. It used to sell out by 1:00pm. Not sure if thy still do it or what the quality is like now. I haven't had that in about 8 years and it was at the Harvey location.

They do. WHite beans with 1/2 smothered rabbit. Worth the trip for lnch on Thursdays (or maybe Wed.)

known for roast beef poboy..my favorite is the onion rings as a starter and the fish plate..... but you can order just about anything and not have a bad meal. I think they'll love the local vibe too!

Excellent choice. Make sure everyone gets a bite of an R&O's Special Poboy.

I recommend it as a good place to take out of towners. Since West End Park ain't there no more, this is a good example of a casual New Orleans seafood joint.
