We cant even help ourselves. Provided the reports are true and this man has been a model citizen from entry at 15 yrs old until today at 43 years old, what good is done by this deportation?

This means that the statements about only the "bad guys" were lies. this is stupid and counter-productive.

Haven't read yet, but I bet the deportation was set forth under Obama and is being carried out now.

PR time bomb.

He has been working for citizenship for 3 decades?

The laws and processes are not close to that onerous.

How do you Stay in a country illegally for almost 30 years? I hate it for the guy and his family but there are nice parts of Mexico too.

Didn't read the whole article but look, I understand and feel for good people who are illegals who've never broken the law (besides come illegally) and get deported, but why didn't they just follow the fricking law in the first place? Just because it's been 10 years or whatever since you broke the law doesn't make you exempt from facing the consequences. This is a perfect example of feelings vs logic and law. Break the law, face the consequences. It's very, very simple.

There's a hundred illegals in front of my Home Depot everyday and this is the guy that gets fast-tracked? I understand the argument for deporting him but sending back successful job creators is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Just seems like there should be a way to meet in the middle with cases like this.

Well, maybe Hawaii shouldn't have cooked up some BS ruling against Trump's travel ban, and then doubled down by re-filing after the Supremes said Trump could have his travel ban

I wish the judge would stfu and just do his job. If he finds his job to be so immoral then he should quit.

This falls on a few things

1) Federal government in the past not doing their job stopping his entry
2) State and Federal governments not throwing flags years ago on his business and deporting him

AND A BIG ONE

3) Him for knowing that he was an illegal and starting a family. He broke up the family no one else.

Have fun in Mexico

Sucks for him and his family but actions have consequences. You don't have to be heartless to enforce the law.

Trump and Sessions lied about their intent. "We are going after the bad actors" clearly does not pertain to this case. There has been ample time for cooler heads to prevail.

This is not a good look, it fuels the opposition. Any other position is asinine.

Thousands of people get their citizenship every year in this country. This guy apparently thought he was too good for that so frick him. He's at fault for breaking up his family and ruining his and their lives. He should be ashamed of himself. I'm glad he's gone.

What's heartless is enabling these situations in the first place

Republicans are never "branded" fairly. That is the first concept you need to grasp.

I guess he hasn't been a model citizen. But this isn't being reported.
