First off its baseball not football it's a game of skill not brute force. It's not impossible for a man like Mantke to create the bat speed required to hit tape measure home runs. If raw body strength were the only thing that mattered why didn't Richie sexton break any records why doesn't Matt Adams lead the league in home runs why isn't Jose Canseco the single season or alltime record holder? Ppl who believe this nonsense don't have a clue how to hit a baseball in the first place and you'll never hear any baseball ppl echo this theory. Ppl now days rather discredit a record than actually earn one.
It takes skill and strength you moron. Some people are really strong but aren't the best hitters so they don't hit a ton of homeruns.

Some people are great hitters but don't generate a lot of power so they don't hit a lot of homeruns.

Then there are some guys like Barry Bonds who was always a good hitter and had power, but he then added strength (whether with steroids or not), and he became a fricking monster and crushed the homerun record.

Size and strength matters.

Thanks for proving my point. Btw Bonds hit 46 home runs before he was big his 3rd most home runs ever in a season.

Example
Jose Altuve hit a 400 foot home run tday.... Prime Time logic - "impossible he's too small" lol

When it comes to hitting a baseball and a golfball for that matter technique beats strength every time. Anyone who has played either sport will know that.
