Impose Sanctions for criminal corruption? OK. Let's use innocent children and keep them in dangerous and/or undesirable situations as political retribution.

He's a very bad man.

I can't argue with that. But no Major Power country allows international adoption of their children except China. It's considered extremely embarrassing for a country to be unable to care for their own citizens. Chinese international adoptions won't last too much longer.

Certainly a strange choice of words, if nothing else. That a law seeking to increase governmental oversight over the foreign adoption of Russian orphans is characterized as "cannibalistic" is puzzling and bizarre, to say the least, esp. since President Putin also included an executive order with the ban to improve domestic adoption programs, measures which were apparently long overdue:
A strange choice of words by a Russian who is described as:
quote:

The editor of the Echo from Moscow, Russian radio station, the famous reactionary Alexe Venediktov said on air:
Seems like a choice of words from someone who is "famously reactionary," especially since this was done for political reasons.

But I'm not sure I understand your point. Are there bad people who do bad things to others, including children, adopted or otherwise? Well yes. We should by all means proactively address this, and punish those who do it anyways but I suspect this:
quote:

According to Russian officials, at least 17 adopted Russian children have died due to domestic violence at the hand of their adoptive American families in recent years.
is an inflated figure, coming from a dishonest and corrupt government. And even then, it's probably a small percentage of adoptions. And overall US adoptions have been a overwhelming net positive for the adopted children.

I mean I believe LSURussian helped a poster here with a Russian adoption, and it's quite a uplifting story all around. And I know of a number of people who have foreign adoptions with similarly positive results.

Since maybe I'm just confused about what you're implying, but know that so much good has happened from these, I find this your stance to he potentially concerning.

Even though your posts are fringe, I must say you provide info to back up your claims.

It makes for an interesting read and I hope you keep it coming!

Keep fighting the good fight!
