whatever level you need assistance. Don't like it, get a job.

So if you file for any welfare, unemployment, food stamps, any housing or healthcare subsidies you are banned from anything with sugar, or entertainment spending?

I'm curious to hash out who should be allowed to purchase a soda by your standards

Anyone can purchase a soda, no one in this thread has argued differently. Having it purchased for you is another matter. Does your straw man hold you close at night? Perhaps he'll buy you a coke some time.

No. Spend your own damn money on that shite.

Foodstamps should go to bare necessities that are generic brand. Flour. Eggs. Veggies.

Anything processed or pre-made should be banned from foodstamps. Any drinks outside of milk should be banned.

Base level ingredients only. Learn to cook or starve. Or get a job and buy the food you want.

Do you not see the difference between buying a coke with food stamps and buying a coke with your own money?

Simply don't allow soda purchases with food stamps. If they want a coke they can buy it with their own money.

It's not that difficult to understand.

Eta: food stamps were created to keep people from going hungry, Not to allow them to indulge.

They should be free to spend any of their cash assistance money on it.
