The Pelicans have zero shooting. Its Davis and Cousins with Holiday and what else?
quote:Minnesota is better than OKC? OKC won something like 14 more games and added the better player.
They aren't on GS/SAS/CC's level, but they are better than NO and OKC right now IMO.

He's the better player comfortably. Chris knows what he's signing up for. This isnt just hardens team it is basically hardens organisation.

If you think Chris Paul is going to go to any team on the planet and play second fiddle, then you haven't watched much Chris Paul.

George is not that much better than Butler.
In fact, Butler got the better of George in almost every H2H they had over the past few years.

And being the best player doesn't mean shite in terms of leadership.
I still remember D Wade screaming at Lebron like a child in the Finals.

He has never played with a player the caliber of James. there's a clear pecking order here all parties involved are aware of.

I should bookmark this thread for when Portland finishes above NO again for the 100th time in a row.

Pels are not in top 5. No bench. No outside shooting.
The knife edge when you play a top tier team is when they take out starters, former or future all stars come in and hold their own for 2 to 5 minutes.
One year celtics had walton as 6th man. 4 HOFers rotating frontline.

Warriors
Spurs, Rockets
Okc, Portland
Min, Den, Utah, Nola, Mem
Everyone else.
With the new additions it'll take Minnesota a little bit to get going. Pels should be better and a 6 thru 8 seed. Memphis will always be good. Den should be better and is a team a lot of people are forgetting about. They were one of the best offenses last season and should shots up their defense a bit. Portland was one of the best teams post all star break and I see a 5 seed for them. Houston and SA will fight for 2 and 3. Okc going to be fun.
I'm interested in Dallas this season too. Dirk won't want to tank and they did fairly well before tanking the last 15 games.

Minnesota blew something like 10-15 double digit leads in the 2nd half last year, and they just added Butler, Teague, and possibly Millsap.
2nd year under Thibs, more experience for KAT and Wiggins, and its not hard to see.
Minnesota could easily make a 15-20 win jump this year.

He confusing being a top 15 player with a top 15 talent.
If there was a draft where you get players for this year and this year only there's no chance that cousins goes in the top 15. There's not one GM who would take him to be their #1 guy. So he's player 31 at best IMO.

Yea bc GMs love the guy you act like he wasn't just traded for freaking budman hield Bc no one else wanted him.

I'd take that bet honestly.

OKC's problem right now is that they don't have any flexibility with cap space at all. And they have zero offensive firepower aside from GOATBrook and George.
They still have work to do. As of now, they still have one of the best offensive bigs in the league and two solid 3 point weapons in Abrines and McDermott.
Back up PG and PF are still areas they have to address.

Divac even said they weren't fielding offers from a lot of teams trying to call in because they didn't have a specific player of interest. Dumb on their part, yes. Doesn't mean teams do not want him.
I mean by that argument George sucks because he was traded for ONLY Oladipo and Sabonis.
Also, please do name 30 other players. I really wanna see this list
