I would just like to add that the only reason I started this thread was because of all the not-so-humble brag threads being started by Texans. You think your state is great. Fine. Not everyone agrees. But you bragging all the time just fufills the stereotype of arrogant Texans being Texans.

You confuse arrogance for pride and that is an all too frequent error by those on the outside looking in. As a native of Orleans Parish and now resident of Texas for some 27 years it is an easy mistake to make...I did at one time, no longer now.
