During the CWS, I heard a Tv announcer mention that he would be a draft eligible sophomore next year. Is this true? I sure was hoping we could get him for 3 years!

Yes and he's not the only one. Bush, Hess, Watson and Slaughter will all be draft eligible.

Draft eligible sophomores are the ultimate crapshoot unless they are a top 5 round pick there are legitimate reasons to come back. Another year of maturing and playin at the highest level of college baseball while also having leverage for the next years draft.

Well no wonder they were all good high school players. They were almost a year older than the other seniors. They should be better than everyone else.
