Sky Bar is great but the bar scene in Auburn overall sucks.

Honestly, the thing that has always surprised me about the BR bar scene has been the "free drink" nights that are offered between 8-10 or whatever. That shite would never fly in Tuscaloosa.

It's really not a big deal when bars do this if it's bar liquor only.
Bottle of crown ruse vodka and liquors on its level cost about 4 dollars a bottle. They've already covered their overhead for liquor with every person who pays that cover (and usually it's 10 dollars, not 5) so there's some profit there too.
Then when the free drinks ends, the bar is full and they charge 5-8 dollars for the same exact liquor and make that profit back they lost during the free drinks quite quickly.
Fred's i believe is the only place that does it for any kind of liquor and I'm 100 percent sure they either cut their liquor with water or replace top shelf shite with the cheap shite to keep costs low. Which is 100 percent illegal but no one cares

Yikes. That would have been steep for my broke arse in college. $10 cover was perfect bc I could go out, be well past drunk at 10, and only buy more drinks to last me the rest of the night.
