There's still some baseball to be played. Let's save the gloating for after.

Win or lose, this is something that will be talked about forever.

We had to beat a team with 4 losses all year, twice in a row, after getting smoked by them.

We can brag a bit.

This was a very big and bad team. LSU just outplayed and outcoached them

If someone made the equivalent frick ups in a more high profile sport like Basketball or Football to what Casey did the last couple days, they might have been fired before the flight back. He fricked this up so hard. And he came off as arrogant. Who the frick benches their number 1 guys when he's available.

No doubt. We made it to the CWS championship series. And did it by beating a team (twice) a lot of people thought were darn near impossible to beat. Definitely worth being proud of.

It was a master class by PM. He's easy to shite on for being a raging a-hole and hard-headed, but he put on a clinic these last 3 games.

Dude knows how to push the buttons.

Not really. We lose the final, and the fact that we beat Oregon State twice will not be a big part of LSU baseball lore.

It will be remembered as part of a national championship run. It won't be remembered widely for decades on its own.

Can you imagine the meltdown on this board had Mainieri made the same mistakes Casey made? I would have to stay away from the Rant for a while. Mainieri deserves a lot of credit for these two wins
