Gee thanks. There are about 3 drastically different routes just asking if someone who has been has a better mouse trap.

Google maps might help
He actually has a legit question. 3 different routes, within 1 minute of each other, despite a 12 hour trip.

Yes....gotta avoid that road closure on W. Central Ave.
(Wonders where W. Central Ave is)

Pick the best way to get to I-40 without going through Texarkana, then Ft Smith- Fayetteville - Western MO
Driven from N La many times, the shitty part is getting to Ft Smith from that side of state. I've always gone through El Dorado. 71 in AR sucks; 259/59 in OK sucks (both have way too many small towns, 4 ways, and cops).
I'd go 49 to 30, to 430 in Little Rock, to 40 for speed.
If you're taking your time, I'd favor 71 over 259/59.

It's almost like Google Maps is screwing with you.
"Oh, I'll just Google the best route and take that one... Wtf?"

avoid US71 from Texarkana to Fort Smith. VERY slow going there and very curvey and mucho log trucks. Maybe Sunday would be better than the two days I drove that way.
