LSU playing yesterday in a live game and keeping momentum all week. The Beavers have just been practicing. When you're good, you're good. But, any other intangibles that could lean towards a win tomorrow.
In '98 we were all set up for a Three-peat. Just needed to beat USC once to get to the Championship game. It didn't happen.

I want to believe.

edit
LSU 3
Oregon St 1

LSU 6
Oregon St 1

I agree - the extra rest will likely result in us winning by 10 or more runs. Let's get it.

They all have normal haircuts. None of their guys are nicknamed "Psycho".

LSU can beat Oregon State and if Lange is pitching his best then they most likely will beat them, but beating them twice in a row will be a tall order for any team. I'm hoping that 13-1 win has them a little over confident, and also knowing they don't absolutely have to win this game will have them a little too relaxed. They are not that many runs better than LSU. If we could hit that night that game would have been completely different. They're not going to get the luxury of 12 walks either, so I could see LSU winning the first game and the second game being a serious battle that could go either way. They roll the ball around a lot and you canning make errors, and that is not normal for LSU either.

Rusty? They have lost 4 games all year.. The key to beating a team like that is to not beat yourself.

A damned cold front came through and the wind started blowing hard straight in. Our Guerilla Ball tactics were totally neutralized....quite a few would be homers became warning track outs. Only in Omaha could it get cold in June and probably take a title away.
