Couldnt imagine going to a place where you have to abide by shooting the limit. I wouldnt waste my time and money on 15 of those tiny birds.

No limit on collard doves, Baw. We quit at 45 white wings/mourning doves and 57 collard doves because the 3 of us didn't want to clean more than 100. Ended up with 102 that afternoon and the sun was still up.

Yeah, the pic above is from our trip out to Wichita Falls last year. But if the OP is in Houston, I'd recommend going WSW. South of San Antonio has some good wing shooting.

We hunted a feed lot north of Amarillo last year and got tired of shooting the Eurasians.
