The aca had input and changes from republican senators.

Only to three liberal Republican ones (like Olympia Snowe) on the Finance Committee. Not for the entire Senate. Please prove otherwise.

So all of this gnashing of teeth is over 7 million people out of 325 million losing their taxpayer-provided health insurance to treat their "diabeetus"?

Forever greatful to the DNC for rigging their primary
as you should be. Sanders would have annihilated Trump.

Trump would've stomped Sanders like Nixon did McGovern in 1972.

hillary is one of the single most loathed people to hold public office in my lifetime. people on both sides genuinely hate her, including myself and every other liberal i know.

we all saw what Obama did to her in a fair primary, so the machine behind Bill made sure that wasnt gonna happen to her twice. not even the democrat voters wanted her, they made that clear, and this was the result when the DNC forced her to the front anyway.

Romney lost Wisconsin in 2012 with 1,407,966.

Trump won it in 2016 with 1,409,467 votes.

the difference was that hillary got 230,000 less votes in 2016 than Obama did in 2012.

it was like this all over the country.

everyone keeps saying this, but don't act like Hillary didn't dominate the primaries in the states that mattered... Most of Bernie's 22 states were small caucus states full of white Democrats.

the DNC actively worked for hillary and against Sanders. this is beyond dispute.

if they had stayed out of it as they did in 2008, Sanders would have destroyed her in similar fashion. which is why they did all this. they knew.

Republicans chose to be obstructionist as a matter of tactics.

They zeroed in on every single Republican that was daring to make good faith efforts with crafting the legislation, despite that, the bill managed to go through the second longest consecutive session on a piece of legislation in history. 100 hours of debate, 100 hours of committee meetings, over 100 Republican amendments over a 12 month process. CBO scored bills before every vote and made publicly available the bill and the score at least a week prior.

Just because the right wing spin machine clings to a fantasy of the legislative process for this bill doesn't mean it is reality.

Listen, I think Hillary was a weak candidate, but the numbers just don't lie, Bernie was not "robbed."

LINK /

For one the DNC is just not competent enough to pull that off lol. Sure they did things that undercut Bernie and that is fricked up, like trying to limit the number of debates and working in close contact with their preferred nominee, but at the end of the day Hillary got the votes. And for better or worse a lot of people felt, for whatever reason, that Hillary as a more centrist candidate would be better poised to take on the extremism of Donald Trump. So there was quite a lot of "I like Bernie but Hillary can win" thinking by voters.

Get real. Dems aren't interested in debate.

They weren't interested in debate when they forced the bill on Americans and they aren't interested in it now. They simply don't deserve a place at the table on this one.

That's an absolute lie. "The ACA had no debate"
