this sounds like a damn good time and a very nice gesture by the Barrett's folks. 
my hope is that our fans are not looking to go there and eat endlessly through the night for $20 like we do at home, though. should be seen as more of a novelty than anything else, IMO. Go by and sip on some beers while eating a pound of mudbugs in Omaha so you can say you did it....then enjoy some real food and soak up the atmosphere.

that is exactly my point....if you are a connoisseur of boiled crawfish who wants to eat a truckload, then Omaha, Nebraska in late June is probably not going to be your best decision.

Google street view Barrett's. In the picture they are flying flags for Nebraska (understandable), Notre Dame (wtf?) and Arkansas (wtf?!).

They brought 1100 lbs in 2015 but ended up eating a loss of ~550 lbs.

I was there in 2015 for the boil. Great guys, I actually knew a few from playing softball in New Orleans. The crawfish boil was a fun day.
I'll be back up next weekend and Barrett's is a must everyday.
