My best description would be to say that Barrett's is sort of like Barcadia near north campus. Rough finishes and tables on floor offering bar food during the day, so kids are welcome. Tables are moved and becomes more of a true bar at night. There is a back patio that's a little more relaxed if you want to sit back and sip a few.

Yeah I guess if you want some crawfish, you should be there early. I wouldnt expect 500 lbs to last long.

Barrett's is basically an LSU bar, even when LSU does not make it, but wondering which team will have the second largest fan support: the aggies? Still laugh in remembering the USCw coach back then, complaining that Omaha was a home game for LSU because all the locals support the Tigers in addition to all the LSU fans in the stadium.

I haven't had some in a while, but aren't the crawfish hard this time of year? They'd be better off with something else.
