If he really wants help he should play in the West where the monsters live

So his 30+ points he scored the other night doesn't count as help than?
I'll try again it again trying to keep you on topic since I'm not sure why you're creating a straw man here...
Do you think Irving is as good of a passer/facilitator as the other guys mentioned in that post?
Simple yes or no will suffice

It's a great question. I wanted to start a thread with it, but ya know, not really worth it.

Completely agree.
So....shall I have Pop call Lue to get the trade talks going? Give you Aldridge for LeBron. Straight up

quote:Nobody is saying Irving sucks. The poster said that AI, Green, and Curry are better facilitators, and this is true.
So now Irving sucks holy frick this place sometimes.... The butt hurt if/when they get swept will be seeping through my monitor...
For the 16-17 season, those three players had an average usage percentage of 19.2, and an average assist percentage of 25.1. So for every possession they use (FTs, FGs, and TOs) they make 1.31 assists.
Irving, on the other hand, had a usage percentage of 30.8, and an assist percentage of 29.7. So for every possession he used, he made 0.97 assists.
This isn't a knock on Kyrie, as he is a great player, and a uniquely gifted scorer. He's just not as much of a facilitator.

But the accumulation of minutes and miles on James’s legs this season — and over the past seven seasons, during his incredible Finals streak — probably hasn’t helped, either. This year alone, in which the 32-year-old averaged an NBA-high in minutes per game, James has run 47 miles more than the 28-year-old Durant, 2 who missed just over a month’s worth of games during the regular season following an injury. (Golden State went 16-4 without him.)
Forty. Seven. Miles.
What is the average length an NBA starter runs during any given game?

Pop for Lue
Kawhi for Dahntay Jones
Aldridge for Derrick Williams
Gasol for Edy Tavares
Seems fair.
