In all likelihood his positives don't outweigh the negatives that he brings to the table. I guess he could make sense as a starter for a team that sucks (the Jets), but the flack you get for signing him isn't worth it if he's going to just ride the bench.

Exactly. He's not blackballed, he just isn't worth the headache. Of course he's better than mike glennon or the dude the Seahawks just signed, but those guys don't come with the baggage; especially for a backup.

Why some of the idiotic talking heads at espn fail to acknowledge that is sickening.

Look the word up. Definition 3. That. The "against white folks" part is not required and is see-through spin.

Yes it is. Look the word up and read the entire definition.

You're demonstrated why the word
"racist has little meaning. There's nothing racist about what Travis did.

You can't tell the difference between racial and racist.
Look the word up and read the entire definition. You are wrong. The word has little meaning to you because you don't know the meaning.

No, people such as yourself have bastardized the meaning.

Nope. Look it up in Webster yourself. It's the only way you'll learn. If I do the work for you, you can't improve.

Nah, it's you. I've used the word correctly and even cited the definition used. You people get triggered by this because you internalize virtually all uses of the word ("He said that Travis said something racist. I read Travis. He must be calling me racist!").

All I'm dealing with is the actual definition of the word in the dictionary, not your feelings.

So it's racial prejudice or discrimination...

Which makes you wrong.

I was banned on calling a guy who said "I hate Muslims and all who are associated with Islam" an Islamophobe and citing the dictionary definition of the word, which means the clock is ticking for me now.

This board doesn't take kindly to the dictionary. Words like marriage, homophobe, islamophobe, and racism do not carry the definitions that most on this board feel that they should. Not sure why that's my problem, but this isn't my site, so I don't make the rules (up as I go along).

Dude. Stop arguing with me. You can't win. He put $50,000 on the line with the amount of African ancestry in a man's bloodline being the determinant. That's racist in that it is racial discrimination. I am right, and you are wrong. Let it go.

Racism is pretty bad. How is the race he is racist against and discriminating against...irrelevant?
