People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!

The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.

The Justice Dept. should ask for an expedited hearing of the watered down Travel Ban before the Supreme Court - & seek much tougher version!

In any event we are EXTREME VETTING people coming into the U.S. in order to help keep our country safe. The courts are slow and political!

.@foxandfriends Dems are taking forever to approve my people, including Ambassadors. They are nothing but OBSTRUCTIONISTS! Want approvals.

Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!

It is funny. I thought executive orders were written by the President. I know the President doesn't actually write them, but we are supposed to pretend that, no?

He's just gonna pretend that he wasn't involved in that decision lol. he can't keep himself from the constant unnecessary lying. Like the other day when he said his tax bill was progressing well through congress even though it doesn't exist.

He really just needs to shut the frick up and stop tweeting. He's his own worst enemy.

Absolutely nothing wrong with any of his tweets. The Supreme Court will judge the executive order byit's legality; not by any other political nonsense like the circuit courts did

The president is owning the executive order.

He correctly surmised the public felt he might be distancing himself from the order previously.

I think it is courageous on his part

They worked so hard to try to convince us it wasn't a travel ban.

I hope so, the court ignored all the it's not a tax declarations when ruling on ACA, it'd be very hypocritical and dangerous to include campaign rhetoric I think. But Trump put himself in a sticky situation by all the rhetoric.

Constitutionally speaking I think the EO is legal. You may disagree with it but reading and listening to scholars and professors for hours and hours on both side it is my opinion on that it should be ruled constitutional.

You talking about the same ban Obama had in those same countries? That one or is Trump's original ban different?

Obama required a visa for people entering the US if they visited those countries. It wasn't a ban.

So you're saying Trump doesn't want to allow those people in, visa or not?

First of all the "ban" on Iraqi refugees in summer of 2011 wasn't a complete ban but slowed down the process for more extensive screenings. Also it was a direct response to the foiled attack by two Iraqi refugees in Kentucky in May.

So you agree with Trump, or you think Obama's a xenophobe? I guess it could be both.

different sets of people. Trump was looking for a list of Muslim majority countries, that's all.

Trump calling it a travel ban in his tweets complicates the legal arguments and I'm sure the solicitor general isn't happy about it.

BS. There is no way anyone can legitimately call this a ban on Muslims because all Muslim nations are not included in the ban. End of story and it is totally dishonest to argue otherwise.

The law also clearly gives Trump the power to do this. No matter what the so called judges that have ruled so far say.
