That Nebraska team they played wasn't that good
I truthfully think the 5 best college football teams since 1990 are
95 Nebraska
05 Texas
05 USC
04 USC
10 Auburn
The 04 USC team came back in 05 to lose to Texas
Only players to leave were Cody, Patterson and a LB
That 05 USC team was better than the team in 2004

Not even the best Auburn since 1990 (2004). You can just judge teams based on solely their schedule. You also look at the roster and save an all time player in Newton, that 2010 Auburn team wasn't that great. That Miami team was loaded with talent and people knew it at the time, they would likely crush 10 Auburn.

This is 100% false. 05 USC defense was garbage. They were torched by ND and Fresno state before Texas ripped them a new a-hole.
The 04 D was one of carroll's best. Additionally, norm chow was still coaching the offense in 04, whereas 05 was co-oc's (two knuckleheads).
The narrative that Texas beat 04 USC is completely false. 04 USC still scores on that Texas defense, and they do not give up 41 points or anywhere near that. The 04 USC D was comparable to the Ohio st D that largely held vy in check at the horseshoe.
